This blanket is being used in the music video for the mother to wear to get across to the audience she is seriously ill.
The black dress is for Carly Jones our artist to wear when singing in the studio to make her look a full time, professional singer.
The rest of the characters in our music video will be wearing similar costumes to this example of tops and jeans etc more casual clothing to be worn.

ReplyDeleteAn example of a music video I have found that includes the artist wearing a dress is Leona Lewis "Run" where throughout she is wearing a dress and looks like a professional singer. Wearing a dress is a rather smart look which lets the audience know you are a professional singer having created the music video to a high professional standard, so we thought that our artist to should wear a dress to give that smart, professional look to the music video. Another example video I have found is again done by Leona Lewis but in the video "Happy" and in some shots she is wearing a dress looking like she is getting ready for a wedding then on other scenes all characters are wearing casual clothing as shown above telling the story of the relationship between the characters.
