Influenced by Taylor Swift "Mine"

This is a video from Taylor Swift "Mine". I listened to the song then watched the video and realised it relates to our music video as it shows her memories in photos hanging around her. Also like ours it is performance and narrative base. The section when Taylor swift is performing there is photos hanging in the background which our group discussed and have decided when Carly our artists sings the lyrics in the visuals we will have photos hanging down around her to make the lyrics more liie reality.

British Film Study 2

Robin Hood 2010

The film is about Robin Hood and his band of marauders confront corruption in a local village set in the 13th century England which lead an uprising against the crown that will forever alter the balance of world power. We can clearly see this relates to Britain as this film re – acts the moments that have happened way back in the past. The main characters in the film all have different nationalities, Russel Crowe from New Zealand, Cate Blanchett from Australia to Mark Strong who is British. Robin Hood is directed by British director Ridley Scott, other films that have been directed by Scoot are “Black Hawk Down” 2001 “Hannibal” 2001 and “Gladiator” 2000. The style of the film has been set in the past to retell the story. Robin Hood belongs to the genre of action adventure and drama this reminds me of the films “Braveheart” 1995 and “Dragonheart” 1996. the film was financed by Universal Pictures based in the USA founded in 1912 and was also promoted and distributed by Universal Pictures using trailers and adverts.

Media Theorists

Lesson 14/09/10

Today we did theorys in media.
We spoke about elements of a comedy film in our group and the word i chose was awkward.
Using the thesaurus I looked up the word awkward and one of the synonyms was amateurish.
Relating this to the comedy film some moments are awkward but they are funny.
